Happy belated Oktoberfest Pictures. (I can't believe I'm so far behind on posting lol.) We spent the majority of Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th up at fest grounds in Chippewa. This is the second year we have gone but only the first time we have gone to see the tapping of the golden keg and the procession from the Leinie's Lodge to the fairgrounds. It was pretty interesting. I was surprised by the number of people who attend and follow the horse-drawn golden keg up the street.
Friday at the Leinie's Lodge. Bobber is standing in front of the BASSically Brass group from UWEC. For those that didn't know, he came up with their name when he performed with the group waaaaaaay back in the day. His director, Dr. Young, is still with the university and we ran into him both days. It's always great to see him.
Alex and her balloon kitty. She requested this same one last year. This year's cat had a yellow collar.
I'm making him drink Miller Lite because I can't find a Leinie's beer that I like.
