Never a dull moment at North Clairemont

For those who don't know, North Clairemont is my Bank Mutual branch name. And, since we opened three years ago on May 24th, we have encountered several items and issues. There have been deer, ducks, and rabbits (who lovingly leave me presents in the snow by my window). We've had a dead fox thrown on our property by the City of Eau Claire. And like all new buildings, it takes a while to work the kinks out. So, the roof or windows leaking, the doors adjusting so they don't lock, keys getting stuck and the hinge breaking off of the garbage area was all just something we have to deal with. But, the pipe breaking in our wall was slightly shocking. The customer picking up the dead muskrat in our driveway was a little more shocking. And, the drug bust in the Menard's parking lot was very shocking. But, today I have to sit and wonder what could possibly be next. While mowing our lawn, the owner, noticed some of our mulch on fire. What?!?!? Are you kidding me?! If our lawn wasn't being mowed at that exact time what would have happened? Yikes!! So, when anything like this happens we always say, Never a dull moment at North Clairemont!! :)

Busy Summer coming our way

I think every year we look forward to summer to have more time to take care of those things we just don't want to when it's cold outside. And, every summer without fail we make our selves so busy we already start looking forward to fall. Oiy, did I really say that?!?

With only 15 days left of school, this summer is no different..... so far.

May 31st - Brownie Bridging Ceremony and Parade
June 5th - Brownie outing to Valleyfair
June 6th - Airshow
June 8th - Last day of School
June 10-11 - Family Thrift sale
June 12-13 - Roofing project at my mom's (everyone's invited to come help roof or paint) wink wink. Bob has taken off some time before the actual weekend to raise some sags in the roof and get things started. We are also placing new floor boards down in the kitchen to replace the flooring and then paint the kitchen. Sam and I have also picked out new bathroom items for her and hope to repaint the bathroom and Aubrey's room. I'm not sure if the new cabinets are going to get done in the bathroom by then. We'll have to see.
June 19 - Wisconsin Dells
June 25th - July 2nd - Vacation. Woo Hoo!! I have so much to do before then.
July 4th - Annual cookout and fireworks with the Klecker family
July 9-11 - Camping
July 11th - Open House for one of my tellers
July 24th - Solum Family Reunion
July 25th - Wisconsin Dells
July 31st - Debroux Family Reunion/Altoona All-class reunion. Not sure which yet as it sure would be nice to see people from the other classes also.

August gets a tad slower.......
Dates pending - Colts training camp
August 7th - Bobber's annual golf outing
August 26th - Colts/Packers pre-season game

I'm sure I'll have to throw some Wedding/Shower/Bachlorette planning in here, too.
I best not be procrastinating on anything this summer or it probably will not get done.

Cinco De Mayo

It's hard to see but Mikki is waving to the camera. We sent this picture to Amy to show how much we missed her on Drinko de Mayo II

Rainbow over Eastridge Center.

Art Show

This is Alex's Bolt mask. She was in her second art show in two years. This art show was at her school, Sam Davey. I should really post some pictures of her twist tie art. You would never believe this things are made with pipe cleaners and twist ties after they are finished. She is so very creative.

The Box

The Box has returned from Vancouver!!! This was how we shipped our boots, sleeping bags and a couple jackets. We knew when we packed it up, it had the potential to explode and well, yep it did. But after Fedex received it so.... hahahaha. Amy and I feared one of Deb's cats would jump on it and never be seen again. Amazingly, one of the vacuum bags remained fully intact and one sadly, has seen it's last days of travel. Oh, and in case you can't make it out. It was an adult fitted briefs box. lololololol We are so hilarious!!!

My Birthday Week

This was an amazing week. I had the opportunity to have dinner April 3rd with Amy, April, Mikki, Jan and Bobber. Thursday we had an extra Brownie meeting so, I got to see all my favorite 3rd graders. Then Bob and Alex took me to dinner because Bob had to work Friday night. Friday, Sam and Martin took me to lunch as Sam had to work Friday night. I was planning to meet my Mom and Aubrey at Cancun Friday night. I was surprised Sam was sent home early with too many hours so she and Martin came out for dinner, too. And, a friend I've had since elementary school came out for a drink also. Saturday, Mikki and I traveled to the Cities for an underwear party Denise was having. We opted to leave early and do some shopping. Love, love, love Trader Joe's. Mikki and I are planning to make a trip up there before our next cook out. Yummy!!!!! We also had the pleasure of eating lunch with Sara and spending some time with her shopping before we headed to Denise's house. What a great week!!! Plus, my house looked like a florist shop with all the flowers from Sandy, Sara and Bobber. I was so lucky to get to spend time with some many wonderful friends and family. :)

It's a Llama, it's a puppet..... it's a Llama puppet!!!!
Amy surprised us with a cake.

Easter

We celebrated Easter on Saturday this year. And what an action packed Saturday it was. After work, I ran to the cities to pick up some more flowers for Sam and Martin's wedding. Then had a late lunch with the fam. Alex stayed with Mom while Bob and I went to meet the girls and Jan for our birthday dinners. Bob and I opted to just enjoy the beer and an app. Thankfully, it was an early evening and we didn't delay the Easter Bunny on his annual voyage.
Just a sample of the artwork I get to come home to.

Well, somebody had to have their basket in the tree!

Who would have thought?

Alex and Elijah
Alex, Krista, Elizabeth and Elijah

Who would have ever thought we'd go for a picnic outing on April 1st, in Wisconsin.

Making Pie

Alex and her fancy pie. It's hard to tell from this angle but there is a cut out bunny on the top.

Krista's Birthday

Sadly, I don't have a picture of Krista at her surprise birthday casino outing as I got yelled at for taking this picture. We had a great time though. The buffet was excellent and Bobber won some money at the end.

Bank Mutual Banquet

Clearly I haven't blogged in a while and have forgotten how to make sure my pictures are in order. Bobber came out for the after party.
Me and my twin Jaiy, with Terry
Mel, Juli, Julie, Jean, Chris and me. Ken and Yeng were sadly missed.
