Minnesota Zoo

Saturday, August 29th, Alex and I went to the Minnesota Zoo. The night before, we had stayed at a Days Inn close to the zoo. She was able to swim while I read. We got up early the next day and after grabbing breakfast in the overly packed breakfast room, we were on our way. I hadn't been to this zoo since 7th grade. Yikes. I'm sure lots has changed but, I couldn't tell you as I don't remember that long ago. They had their Africa animals on display until September 7th. My favorite exhibit was the Butterflies. They were amazing! Here are just a few pictures of our day.

Moose. No big antlered moose, though. Sad.
