Victoria to Seattle

We had requested a taxi be at the Waddling Dob by 7:45 for our 9:15 flight. We had to have to hotel call the taxi company twice as they still weren't there by 8:05. Finally at 8:12 the taxi arrived and away we went. The driver even tried to get us to take a scenic drive up to Sidney. Maybe next time....
Victoria Airport. This was the area we were sequestered to prior to our flight back to the US. We had our hands swabbed and bags checked again even after going through normal airport security. This is the only airport I have ever boarded the plane on the tarmac. Very interesting. We joked about first class boarding rows 1-8 first and then rows 9-10 for regular passengers like us. And the flight attendant. Yes, just one. lol Actually, there were two flight attendants and about 20 rows. The flight was not full so we had the option of moving if we wanted but since we had everything situated already, we stayed put. The flight did have water service and a bathroom. Total, it took about 45 minutes to get to Seattle in our lime green plane.
Our ferry the night before would have passed through this channel. I can only imagine how beautiful it would have been.
Mt. Rainier!! It does exist!! We take it back Mary and Karen!
