Ferry

The following morning, our flight back home was leaving from Victoria and connecting in Seattle. We had booked the flight prior to switching our hotel reservations to staying at Deb's house. We were able to take a bus from the same train station we arrived at to the ferry and then the ferry would take us to the area of the hotel. We were instructed to arrived an hour before the bus left so after Lana picked us up at the Curling Venue, she took us to the bus depot. We were early and thought we would be able to get dinner at McDonalds and hang out shortly. When we went to purchase tickets we were told we could still catch the 5:30 bus and save us an hour and a half travel time. So, we jumped on and worked on writing our last article for the Leader Telegram. We were a little punchy while writing it but, we were laughing too.
This is all I ventured out to do on the ferry. As most of you know, not a big fan of water so we didn't go out on the decks. My main panic attack came when we were loading the bus on to the ferry and I watched the semi's and school buses and other passenger buses drive on also. The ferry itself was 5 levels. We parked on level one, cars were parked on level two, and three - five were passenger areas to hang out, a cafeteria or two, and a gift shop.
We have now officially taken 5 modes of transportation on this trip - plane, car, bus, train and ferry. Doesn't get any better than that!!
